Shashma

"Shashma" is a word used in old Lebanese colloquial to mean "bathroom", probably inherited from the days of the Ottoman rule in Lebanon. The word is still used by some old people.

Literally means 'hit by the wire'.  An expression used to refer to someone who is crazy or mentally unstable.

Other variations are "Metar2a3" (مطرأع) or "Lasse3" (لاسع) or "3ando fuse dareb" (ضارب fuse عندو). The origin of these variations all refer to the state of having a non-functioning section of the brain. Also used as a figure of speech to express that someone's actions are very much out of the norm and unexpected.
