She7ad Msharat - شحاد مشارط, in English means "Beggar with conditions". When you give a beggar something, he's usually thankful, he never (or is not supposed to) tell you it is too little. This expression is used when someone asking you for a favor is actually being choosy! e.g.
Person 1: Can I finish your sandwich? I'm still really hungry Person 2: okay Person 1 (tasting): beukh, it has pickles, can't you order without pickles, you know I hate them! Person 2: shou She7ad Msharat enta! (can't you appreciate instead of comlaining?) |
