Ou3a Yef'a3

"Ou3a Yef'a3": Lebanese Slang, literally means "watch out it is going to blow up", metaphorically used by men when a snobbish hot chick passes them and does not pay them any attention.

Lebanese Slang, author:Massoud el-Khoury of Berkacha, Lebanon

The literal translation means "keep the potato cooking on its own". The expression is meant to advise patience to its recipient. In Lebanese rural customs, it is common to put potatoes in the stove and let them cook on wood fire during cold times, should the cooking be continuously interrupted, the potatoes would be ruined and in a similar comparison, matters of life should be kept at their own pace, thus, the use of this expression.
