Daily Slang

Beye3a / Baye3a / Bayi3a / Baye3a

"Beye3a" (Baye3a / Bayi3a / Baye3a / Beyi3a): Lebanese Slang, literally means "he has sold it" and metaphorically used to refer to someone who is careless, irresponsible and / or negligent (see "Msayyaf").

Sample conversation:

Person 1: "dude he has not renewed his driving license in years"

Person 2: "man, hayda beye3a"

Achtaf zoom أشطف زوم can be translated as "cleaner sauce" and actually means "better than"

Example:

This guy is really bad bass ba3do "achtaf zoum" men khayyo.
Your dress is not bad, at least achtaf zoum men haydik.
