Bi Zenn 3ala Kharaab 3esho - بزن على خراب عشه . Levant Slang. Bi Zenn is a verb usually attributed to the sound a bee makes while flying. Kharaab 3esho means the destruction of its hive or nest. It literally means (the bee)'s buzz led to the destruction of its hive or nest.
Metaphorically, this is very similar to the English expression "to shoot yourself in the foot", or "ask for trouble".

"3a Add Frashak Medd Ejreek / عقد فراشك مد اجريك" - Palestinian (or perhaps Greater Syria: Bilad al-Sham) Slang, literally means "stretch your legs as far as the mattress can take", metaphorically means "live within your means". Great slang for the current Economic Crisis that we live in... |
